Wow that's a bit much for a preschooler don't you think? Well, no. Scientific concepts don't have to be understood at the preschool age, however, introducing them through play starts the cognitive ball rolling! Children have the ability to absorb so much information and apply new information to their explorative play. We use big words for it, but really its the natural learning process that we can accelerate for them by offering experiences for them to learn from. Early science and engineering! Cool!
