Montessori Learning Locks with Keys

With this Montessori Philosophy based Elementary Practical Life activity, children will learn how to lock and unlock vehicle themed padlocks using keys. Children really enjoy this activity and they find it very rewarding when they succeed in unlocking all the locks!

There are many things children learn when locking and unlocking locks. One is being able to begin to do things on their own and another is growing their independence and self confidence. Children will indirectly acquire different skills such as fine motor development and visual discrimination during play with thoughtfully developed toys such as these lock and key vehicles.
